# Open Measurement (OMID)

Integrating the **Open Measurement SDK (OMID)** helps ensure compliance with industry standards and can boost monetization. Buyers view OMID support as a mark of **quality and transparency**, increasing the likelihood of receiving bids and stronger campaign performance.

Providing OMID support gives buyers greater confidence that ads will be **seen and engaged with by real users**, both on the web and in-app. The OMID SDK, standardized by the **IAB Tech Lab**, enables reliable **ad verification and viewability measurement**, and allows you to properly tag your inventory.

#### Declaring OMID in an OpenRTB Request

To indicate OMID compatibility, include the following fields in your OpenRTB request:

* **`imp[].api = 7`** : Indicates support for the OM API.
* **`source.ext.omidpn`** *(string)* : OM SDK partner name.
* **`source.ext.omidpv`** *(string)* : OM SDK version.

Including these fields ensures your inventory is recognized as OMID-compatible, helping you attract more buyers and improve monetization.
