Blocklists

📌 Welcome, this document will help make the most of Adagio in compliance with your requirements.

What is a blocklist ?

A blocklist is a curated list of categories, creative formats or domains that publishers chooses to prevent from serving ads on their website. This helps maintain brand safety, protect user experience, and ensure compliance with specific advertising standards.

A. About the blocklist management tool

Important Note: All changes apply to your entire inventory by default nothing is selected in the targeting section and will be live within an hour after you save your settings on Adagio’s platform.

This tool helps you customize blocklists based on the specifics of your websites, ad placements, or formats.

B. How to add a blocklist

Log in to our Adagio Platform

Connect to https://app.adagio.ioarrow-up-right.

Go to Inventory section > Blocklists

click on the New blocklist button

Choose a name for the new blocklist

Select Targeting

Apply the criteria on which you want to have this blocklist

Please note without targeting, the blocklist has been applied to your entire inventory

Select what to block

  • IAB categories of content (e.g., violence, adult content, political content)

  • Creatives attributes, types of creative

  • Specific advertisers domains

Please exclude https:// and www. when pasting the domains onto the platform. Only the domain name and the extension are required i.e. https://www.mydomain.comarrow-up-right should be logged as mydomain.com.

For domains, paste your domains list and click on Apply

Domains that are recognized by the platform, thus included in the blocklist will appear under the Valid domains category. Unrecognized domains, and so, not included into the blocklist will appear under Invalid domains, in this case follow the instructions on screen to correct that.
